Gibraltar holds a place very close to Aroa's heart, not only because it is her home town but also because she feels many of its inhabitants seem to under-appreciate its beauty. Many of the people that live in Gibraltar disregard the quaint old-town, preferring the allure of new high-rise luxury. The town has become an example of modern day consumerism and throw-away culture. Yet Aroa considers it to be a unique and individual place like no other and through this project wishes to showcase its true value and hidden treasures.
